Nancy Serena’s wide variety of experience in various forms of media is what gives her an edge as a casting director. Originally a radio announcer and professional voiceover talent in Boston and Los Angeles, she has a keen ear for voice and copy delivery. She has also worked as a live announcer for television and local music venues. Nancy has acted both in television and film. She has also worked as a dialogue coach for many prominent Hollywood stars, including Bette Midler, Carol Kane, John Ritter, Randy Quaid, and Cloris Leachman, to name a few. She is a graduate of the Second City improv and writing programs, which also adds to her casting expertise. All of this experience helps her to bring out the actors’ best performances in the audition process.
Maria O’Driscoll began her casting career working on TV shows such as Ally McBeal, The Practice and Nothing Sacred. From there she moved to films, including Winchell, The Shrink Is In, Town & Country and American Beauty. She has been working in commercial casting for 17 years, casting hundreds of commercials. All of these years in casting have led to strong relationships with all the top talent agencies in Los Angeles, which in turn leads to the ability to get the best actors to come to popcasting auditions.
